Wheremote — SaaS Web App

Problem

With the rise of remote work, digital nomads are constantly seeking new cities to live and work from. However, existing platforms were cluttered, lacked trustable data, or tried to solve too many problems at once — making it hard for users to make informed decisions based on real-life needs like cost of living, visa requirements, or internet quality.

Objectives

Design and launch a focused, responsive, and data-driven platform that allows remote professionals to:

  • Discover and compare cities around the world using accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Access both free and premium insights in a clean interface.
  • Explore destinations based on filters like internet speed, safety, climate, and cost.

User Flows & Prioritization

I mapped the main user journey from discovering a city to accessing gated content. This helped define which screens were essential for the MVP and ensured a focused, lightweight experience.

CMS Structure & Modular Design

To support scalability, I designed a modular CMS structure in Webflow that powers all city pages dynamically. Each content block—such as cost of living, workspace score, or visa info—is reusable and easily updatable.

Learnings & Results

Learned how to balance design decisions with business and product thinking as a solo founder. Improved my skills in turning complex data into visually simple, digestible UI components. Developed fluency in low-code tools like Webflow, Memberstack, and Jetboost to deliver fast without engineering support.
